My own Political Persuasion

You Are a "Don't Tread On Me" Libertarian

You distrust the government, are fiercely independent, and don't belong in either party.
Religion and politics should never mix, in your opinion... and you feel opressed by both.
You don't want the government to cramp your self made style. Or anyone else's for that matter.
You're proud to say that you're pro-choice on absolutely everything!

It shows I am a Libertarian. I do like some of their political ideology, but I don't agree with everything the Libertarians believe.

How American I am

You Are 66% American

Most times you are proud to be an American.
Though sometimes the good ole US of A makes you cringe
Still, you know there's no place better suited to be your home.
You love your freedom and no one's going to take it away from you!

I guess I am only 2/3 American. What is my other 1/3???????? It is only a quiz and it's in fun, I guess.
Click above on "How American Are You" if you would like to take the test yourself.

The weather.com icon I added to my blog

On my blog i have added a weather.com icon on my sidebar. Just add you zip and enter. Pretty neat feature. LOL.

Summary of Political Polls

This is another subject of interest to me, so I decided to do some research on this topic. This sparked me as an interest because I always wanted to know how newspapers and other media outlets got their statistics. They are used for election predictions and approval ratings.
A poll is only a prediction of an election outcome. Politicians study the polls as a part of their strategy.
When a poll is conducted only about 800-2000 people may be selected for the polls. There are several route of polling demographics, such as registered voters, by political party registration, and likely voters.

I will write more on this when I find more information, understand it more thoroughly, and when it is closer to election time.

Pennsylvania Clean Sweep

I discovered this site a few months ago and decided I was going to paste a link to my blog. It is called pacleansweep.com. It is in reference to the illegal pay raise that made much of Pennsylvania unhappy. That is the reason for the sheep at the top of my blog It is illegal because they violated the constitution of Pennsylvania to give themselves a raise. It was done in the wee hours of the morning. I guess the lawmakers think we are sheep. They think we can forget they provided themselves a raise. I am going to add additional links for the Pennsylvania residents that may visit this blog, or anyone else who may be interested are more than welcome to check out the links as well. They will be at the bottom of this post.
These are the lawmakers that voted for their raise.
This is a memo for those who voted for it.
Remember fellow Pennsylvanians WE ARE NOT SHEEP!

Sunday Post

Fuel prices are coming down finally. This beginning part is being written in the beginning of the week starting Sunday September 17th, 2006. Gas prices are ranging in my area anywhere from $2.199 to $2.579 depending on the area.
It really amazes me that you can go to one gas station where the price is $2.579 and a few miles down the road it is $2.289.
You can forget about going to the place that is $2.199 a gallon. You will be waiting for quite some time because that is the cheapest gas around.
I have an idea that gas prices are set in different zones, but i do not understand the entire concept of the "zones" I am unsure of how one place so close to each other can charge so much more for basically the same product. I wonder if traffic patterns and studies have anything to do with it? Provide me some Insight.
Some economists have some fears that it may cause interest rates to rise and the real estate boom collapse even further, although they claim falling oil prices will give people a larger "disposable income."
But then economists are predicting good news for the economy. They are stating there is a little chance for recession in the coming months.
