Sunday Post

Fuel prices are coming down finally. This beginning part is being written in the beginning of the week starting Sunday September 17th, 2006. Gas prices are ranging in my area anywhere from $2.199 to $2.579 depending on the area.
It really amazes me that you can go to one gas station where the price is $2.579 and a few miles down the road it is $2.289.
You can forget about going to the place that is $2.199 a gallon. You will be waiting for quite some time because that is the cheapest gas around.
I have an idea that gas prices are set in different zones, but i do not understand the entire concept of the "zones" I am unsure of how one place so close to each other can charge so much more for basically the same product. I wonder if traffic patterns and studies have anything to do with it? Provide me some Insight.
Some economists have some fears that it may cause interest rates to rise and the real estate boom collapse even further, although they claim falling oil prices will give people a larger "disposable income."
But then economists are predicting good news for the economy. They are stating there is a little chance for recession in the coming months.
