Washington State's legislators are set to ram a bill through that will increase our state's minimum wage ot $7.25/hour. Increased wages forces small business owners to hire fewer people. It also akes a bite out of larger companies.

Most companies pay well above minimum wage, at least they do in Pennsylvania. It really did cause that much of a controversy, even amongst small business owners when minimum wage increased to $6.25.
Increased wages are more demanded by inflation and increases in the cost of living.
It does hurt business to an extent, but alot is way over exaggereated. I know of no one that lost a job or didn't get hired due to the fact minimum wage increase.
