The 16th Amendment

The 16th amendment is quite a controversial amendment. Recently I have been doing quite a bit of research on this topic. The controversy goes from the amendment not being ratified by the states to the actual law including the requirement to file a 1040.
I am going to write about this topic in several different posts. I am going to go in depth of how constitutional or unconsitiutional this amendment really is.

The 16th amendment really isn't that controversial. From what I've been able to deduce those people that have gotten away with not paying their taxes, are more of a lucky few that caught a legal technicality that those that have exposed a great secret in our society. This has had a limited amount of attention through films like America : Freedom to Fascism, but even with their "in-depth" look, I doubt there is much to this.
